Rough Sleeper Hub Officer

My client is seeking an experienced Rough Sleeper Officer who is experienced in assessing and supporting rough sleeping clients into supported accommodation. The Hub Worker will be responsible for supporting rough sleepers into emergency accommodation under appropriate support needs and health and safety messures. This is a hands on position and the successful applicant must be a resilient individual who is confident with managing own caseload.

The Hub Officer will carry out Support plans (PHP) to ensure homeless clients needs are supported. The client understands the pressures of the role and is keen to support Officers into the role. Strong Homeless support working knowledge able to support vulnerable clients. The Officer will be able to join the team and hit the ground running.

Duties Includes:

• Working directly in the Councils 24 hour homeless Hub recently opening in Enfield


• Responsible as the first point of contact on shifts in hostel, supporting rough sleepers housed into emergency accommodation.


• Complete comprehensive needs assessments on rough sleepers to understand health and safety and general needs upon arrival.


• Experience completing personalised support plans to ensure rough sleepers support needs are met.


• Undertake regular Health and Safety assessments on rough sleepers placed in emergency accommodation


• Understanding of difficulties that homeless/rough sleeper face whilst on shift


• Working shifts (alternate morning and Evening shifts)


• Enhanced DBS required
