Occupational Therapist

This is a fantastic opportunity to work as an Occupational Therapist at Bromley Council. You will be joining a well-structured and dynamic team to promote wellbeing and independence by completing complex occupational assessments. Our client offers a full-time contract with a fair and manageable caseload and further training in your portfolio.

Main Duties include;

• Working in locality team with Social Workers and Occupational Therapists


• Take professional responsibility as directed for managing a caseload which will include adult within the framework several social care outcomes.


• Enable them to identify their needs and plan support to meet those needs using the full range of options, seeking advice and support where appropriate.


• Carrying out assessments


• Reablement, equipment and adaptations


• Carrying out moving and handling assessments


• Provide holistic assessment to clients with a disability

To Be Successful;

Our client has requested that the successful candidate has previous experience as an Occupational Therapist within the Social Care setting. The successful candidate will have experience of working in a Reablement team and local domiciliary care agencies, as well as Manual Handling, Major Adaptations, Enhanced DBS/CRB (we can obtain for you). The candidate must be HCPC Registered with a full OT Qualification.
