Team Manager - Children's Locality Team

We are looking to recruit a Team Manager within Children's Services. Our client has a well-structured and organised team that are looking to grow their staffing levels. This is a unique opportunity to join an exciting and supportive team that are passionate about making a positive change in children's lives within Hull Council.

Main duties include:

• Quality assurance of cases


• Quality assurance of systems and processes


• Good knowledge of current legislation


• Auditing of cases


• Child centred practices which include direct work and participation


• Supervise several professional staff


• Recruitment


• Develop strong relationships with key internal and external partners, openly acknowledging problems and working closely with partners to improve services.


• Planning, monitoring, and managing delegated team budgets, ensuring that all financial targets are met


• Recruit manage and develop staff


• Budget Management

To be successful:

For this Team Manager within Children's Services you will need to be HCPC Registered and educated to Degree Level IE: DIPSW, BA Hons, BSc SW, master's SW. The client requests that successful candidate will have previous experience working within a Care Management Team within in the UK. You must have the Eligibility to Work in the UK.
