ITU Nurses

Ackerman Pierce are looking to recruit ITU Nurses that are currently looking for agency work. We are looking for Nurses interested in Ad/Hoc/Block bookings and long-term bookings. We have a range of Days/nights and weekends on offer. Our client has a well-structured and organised team that are looking to grow their staffing levels. The role has a supportive team culture with regular supervision and a supportive management team. This is a great opportunity to join a team with a good CQC Rating within the Bristol area.

Main duties include:

• Ward Based Nursing


• Responsible for maintaining care standards in the ICU department


• Able to assess patients quickly, prioritize, and assist in minor procedures


• Perform diagnostic tests


• Conduct follow up visits and patient treatment


• Communicate with doctors and patients to keep everyone updated on test results and treatment recommendations


• Monitoring patient recovery and care


• Assist in the care of traumas, cardiac arrests, strokes, and other triage situations.

To be successful:

For this role you will need to be a Registered General Nurse with an NMC Pin and educated to Degree Level IE: BA Hons, BSc. The client requests that the worker will have significant ICU Hospital Experience and can work with a full varied caseload. You will also need to have the Eligibility to Work in the UK with previous experience within the NHS and hold a valid DBS.
