Housing Advisor

Have you had experience working as a Housing Advisor? I'm excited to say my client is seeking an experienced Housing Advisor to meet the high demand in their social housing team. Being the first port of call for people calling into the service, you will need a good knowledge of the issue surrounding housing as well as the appropriate legislations. The client understands the pressures of the position and is keen to support all team members in a comfortable working condition.

Officers will have experience working with vulnerable people and making decisions based on their best interests. The team are looking for a candidate that can quickly adapt to their way of working and provide exceptional advice based on knowledge in Housing.

Duties Includes:

• You will ensure that all registered applicants are correctly assessed after carrying out phone/home interviews using excellent communication skills.


• Answering customer complaints regarding repairs and logging all repair appointments on the system.


• Providing help to candidates who are calling into the service as well as responding to email queries.


• Dealing with client case management


• Advise and assist customers under relevant housing and homelessness legislation
