Qualified Social Worker - Assessment and Child Protection Team

The ACP team undertake assessments and investigations of any issues relating to child protection. The service is provided by Experienced Social Workers, who carry out statutory assessments involving home visits, consulting with other professionals / practitioners and agencies, gathering information for the assessment and analysing the potential risk to any child or young person. After the completion of the assessment, the case is either closed or held to the point of transfer to the Long Term Locality Teams.
