Early Help Practitioner

Early Help Practitioner - Bournemouth

We are currently looking to recruit an Early Help Practitioner within a Childrens Social Services in the Bournemouth area.

Responsibilities include:

• identify children and families who would benefit from early help


• undertake an assessment of the need for early help


• provide targeted early help services to address the assessed needs of a child and their family which focuses on activity to improve the outcomes for the child

• Levels of need and continuum of support - Thresholds


• Getting support


• Bournemouth Early Help Assessment and Support Plan


• Issues affecting children and families


• Workforce development programme


• Free tools and resources for working with children.


• Young people and their parents

Experience preferred:

Minimum of 12 months' experience of working within the Health and Social Care sector as a Early Help Practitioner in the UK.

The team:

• Well-structured organised team, growing their staffing levels.

Minimum Requirements:

• 1 year experience in a similar role within the UK


• Enhanced DBS/CRB (we can obtain for you)


• Eligibility to work in the UK


• NVQ level 2 in Health and Social Care
