Investigators for Safeguarding Team - Temp - Hatfield

We are recruiting for Investigators for a large law enforcement agency that protect the public from crime and disorder. This is a 12 month contract, working full time hours. You will be working with the public protection team, helping and supporting victims of Domestic Abuse by investigating incidents, gathering evidence and intelligence to build a case.

This role will be subject to police vetting.

Main Responsibilities;

• To embrace cultural and systems change, exploiting opportunities to deliver improvements to service


• Prepare, maintain, and collate case and other records, files, attend meetings and keeping a track of everything


• To support and carry out investigations into Domestic Abuse, Honour Based Abuse and Forced Marriages.


• To provide a victim-centred approach to Safeguarding of investigations and incidents involving Domestic Abuse, Honour Based Abuse and Forced Marriage.


• To contribute to achieving the Force vision, purpose and values


• Seize and analyse evidence relating to crime to ensure that all relevant evidence is obtained and analysed, and that robust conclusions can be drawn from it


• To attend where appropriate relevant multi agency meetings such as MARAC and Safeguarding boards

To Be Successful

• Driving licence


• Experience in investigation and safeguarding


• Designated safeguarding leads


• PIP 1 or PIP 2 Investigating experience (desirable)
