Qualified Social Worker, Childrens Safeguarding Team

We are looking to recruit a Qualified Social Worker, Childrens Safeguarding Team within the Social Care Industry in East Riding of Yorkshire. The successful candidate will be working in a well-structured, organised team who are growing their staffing levels. This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a multi-disciplinary Early Help and Safeguarding Hub to undertake decision making and provide the first response to initial enquiries and expressions of concern.

Responsibilities include;

• Producing Court Reports


• Attending LAC Reviews, Care Conferences and Child Protection Meetings


• Working with Public Law Outline (PLO)


• Section 47 Assessments


• Core Assessments


• Managing a varied caseload including; Child Protection, Looked After Children and Complex Children in Need

To be successful:

For this Qualified Social Worker, Childrens Safeguarding Team you will need to be HCPC Registered and educated to Degree Level IE: DIPSW, BA Hons, BSc SW, master's SW. The client requests that successful candidate will have previous experience working within a Care Management Team within in the UK. You must have the Eligibility to Work in the UK.
