Qualified Social Worker - Senior Assessment & Intervention

We are looking to recruit a Senior QSW within an Assessment and Intervention Team within the LB of Enfield. Our client has a well-structure and organised team that are looking to grow their staffing levels. The role offers flexible working hours for working parents and has a supportive team culture with regular supervision on cases. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced and supportive team within Enfield.

Main duties include:

• Initial Assessments and Core Assessments


• Section 47 Investigation


• Contributing to the duty rota


• Initiating care proceedings


• Working in a multi-agency capacity to support families and children


• Initial child protection reports conference reports


• Support Newley Qualified Team Members


• To carry out undertake care management responsibilities in the area of looked after children and safeguarding statutory social work.


• To participate in completing contacts, referrals and undertaking sec47 enquiries and child and family assessments. Also, to accept case Transfers from the Assessments Teams.

To be successful:

For this role you will need to be a Qualified Social Worker with a HCPC Registration and educated to Degree Level IE: BA SW, BSc SW, DIPSW. The client requests that the worker will have at least 2 years' experience and can work with a full caseload. You will also need to have the Eligibility to Work in the UK with previous experience within Assessments
