To show our commitment to safeguarding, Ackerman Pierce hold the exclusive Compliance+ accreditation.

Compliance+ is a best practice standard that was developed by the Association of Professional Staffing Companies (APSCo) alongside external stakeholders including the British Association of Social Workers (BASW), Social Work England, ESPO, agency managed service providers, and several leading local authorities.

Compliance+ provides an industry-wide best practice benchmark for recruitment agencies, which sets the standard for providing high quality staff whilst ensuring that the safeguarding of children and vulnerable adults is a priority.

To maintain this standard, Ackerman Pierce have a robust internal quality assurance process which is audited annually by independent external safeguarding auditors. This enables us to without bias, review and improve continually.

Ackerman Pierce operates an award-winning Compliance function which requires a variety of safeguarding checks. Utilising industry leading technology, specifically trained staff and our bespoke designed safeguarding platform we deliver safer recruitment in a user friendly manner.

When registering with Ackerman Pierce, we will require a variety of the below:

  • Registration documents (application form and interview form – provided by your consultant
  • Right to Work
  • National Insurance
  • Driver’s License (if using you car for work purposes)
  • Social Work England registration (if required)
  • Qualification Certificates and Training records
  • Enhanced DBS
  • SWE
  • Proof of Address
  • 10 years Employment History (gaps of 4 weeks or more explained)
  • 5 years of references
